The Brecks has several Country Parks at prime locations. They have excellent facilities for visitors including a range of interesting events throughout the year. Enjoy a picnic and one of the short walking trails and be sure not to miss the rare wildlife which you may stumble across.

Thetford Forest Park


Is the largest lowland pine forest in the UK. Waymarked trails, Bike Art bicycle hire and sales and Go Ape (treetop trail). Click here for more information

 
Brandon Country Park


In 32 acres of forest and heathland with a lake, forest walks, walled garden and plant sales. It is rich in amphibians and dragonflies. Click here for further information

 
West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village & Country Park


Is a reconstructed Anglo-Saxon village set in 125 acres with bird hides and nature trails. It has a visitor centre and children’s play area. Special costume events are held during holiday periods. Click here for further information
 
Knettishall Heath Country Park


Knettishall is the largest Country Park in Suffolk and is a Site of Special Scientific Interest with its unspoilt heath and grassland. It is a delight for walkers and is the hub of 4 long distance routes - The Peddars Way & Norfolk Coast Path National Trail, Angles Way, Iceni Way and Icknield Way Path.
