Farmers Markets are a great way to support your local producers. They give you a chance to talk to the supplier face to face; you can find out about where the produce came from and really get an understanding of the passion that goes into their work. There are three regular Farmers Markets across the Brecks throught the year.
Held first and third Sunday of each month on the Market Place.
Visitors to Sunday's market will be tempted by a range of tasty treats including local cheese, rare breed pork, artisan breads, real ales, cider, pork pies, cakes, tarts and elderflower champagne.
