Greenbanks is a small Country hotel set amidst 8 acres of meadows, with wild flower walks and private fishing lakes.
It was built around 1702 as an Inn, and has been magnificently renovated to maintain its original charm and character, both in the restaurant and overnight suites.
There are 9 rooms, of which 5 are groundfloor suites with easy access for ALL, and can accommodate wheelchairs.
The superb restaurant uses the finest fresh local speciality produce. This allows us to prepare special dishes for guests with diet allergies (vegetarian/VEGAN/non-dairy/high fibre/no sugar)
There is an 11 metre indoor covered swimming pool with hydrotherapy jet stream. The pool is fully equipped with easy access for all. As well as a hot tub, sauna and a mini gym with exercise facilities. (A selection of membership options are available).
As a resident, fishing at Greenbanks is free. Plus there are two large fishing platforms to accommodate our disabled guests. These are praised by guests for position, comfort and peace of mind.
Pets are welcome by arrangement.

Lydney house built around 1746 is a large Georgian merchants house. Set in its own grounds and back from the road. Only a 5 minute walk from the centre of the historic Georgian market town of Swaffham.
The hotel is family run and offers a warm welcome. Relax in the bar or meet friends in the garden before taking a meal in our restaurant. Our style of presentation is not too formal although we are professional and discreet. We welcome the opportunity to get to know our guests and are pleased to offer any local information we can.
Our garden is home to Ducks, Rabbits, Squirrels, Bats, an occasional Peacock, hedgehogs and many others. Trees of interest include a Japanese Weeping Larch, a Weeping Ash, a pair of magnificent Horse Chestnuts, some Yew a Corsican Pine, Sweet Chestnut and Holly.
