Walking in the Brecks is an instant holiday and there is always something different to see, whatever the season. Take a local route or follow an ancient trackway such as the Peddars Way & Norfolk Coast Path National Trail.

Peddars Way & Norfolk Coast Path National Trail

A quarter of this distinctive route lies within the Brecks, starting at Knettishall Heath through to Holme-next-the-Sea. Peddars Way is suitable for people with special access needs and most of it is open to cyclists. 67 miles / 107 km.

The Icknield Way Path


Knettishall Heath to the Berkshire Ridgeway, via the Chilterns.
105 miles / 165 km.

Angles Way


The ‘Broads to the Brecks’ path, linking Knettishall Heath with Great Yarmouth via the Little Ouse and Waveney valleys.
77 miles / 124 km.

Iceni Way

Knettishall Heath to Holme-next-the-Sea via Brandon and the Fens.

The Harling Drove


Covering between Roudham Heath and Bromehill at Weeting, connecting with Peddars Way. Much of the trail is off-road on sandy tracks.

A gentle meandering walk through the Little Ouse valley, total route is off-road.

The Weeting Village Trail

Easy circular route visiting some of the local features of interest. For the more adventurous there are footpath links to other parts of the parish and further afield.
